Glenfiddich – Fire & Cane (70cl, 43%)

Glenfiddich Fire & Cane is a Speyside single malt from the distillery's Experimental Series, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It pairs a smoky character with the fruity Glenfiddich style. The whisky is matured in bourbon casks and then finished in Latin American rum casks, which add a warm sweetness alongside the smoke, fruit and caramel. The nose is smoky, with caramel, ripe fruit and a gentle sweetness. On the palate there is soft smoke, fruit and caramel, with light spice and wood. The finish is pleasantly long, with lingering smoke, soft sweetness and warm wood.
