This is a 16 year old single malt from Glenfiddich, a limited edition created to celebrate the partnership between the distillery and the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team. It is Edition #2, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in a combination of traditional oak and sherry casks. Tasting notes give green apple, pear, vanilla and toasted oak on the nose, then orchard fruit, candied orange peel, cinnamon and soft oak tannins on the palate. The finish is long and warming, with oak spice and soft fruit.
