This is a 23 year old Speyside single malt from Glenfiddich, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in American and European oak casks, then finished in French cuvée casks.
The cuvée finish brings brioche and a creamy sweetness alongside the distillery's pear and apple character.
The nose is bright, with baked apple, nashi pear, lemon zest, brioche and vanilla cream. The palate is silky and medium to full-bodied, with candied citrus, orchard fruit compote, toasted almond and sweet pastry. The finish is long, with sweet oak, soft spice and a dry fade.
