Grand Yozakura is a 29 year old Glenfiddich, bottled at 45.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky matured in oak casks at the Glenfiddich Distillery for 29 years, then was finished in Awamori casks from Okinawa.
The name refers to the moment when Japanese cherry blossom is admired under the light of the moon.
The nose is ripe fruits and caramelised almonds. On the palate, oak and creamy vanilla mingle with spice and sherbet, and the finish ends on oak.
