Glenfiddich – Malt Master's Edition (70cl, 43%)

This is a Speyside single malt from Glenfiddich, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is named after Brian Kinsman, the distillery's sixth Malt Master, who was the first there to double-mature Glenfiddich in two different casks. The whisky was first matured in traditional oak casks, then finished for a number of years in sherry casks, which add fruitcake and gingerbread notes. It combines fresh and dried fruit sweetness, with the sherry present but not dominant. The finish is long, and the sherry grows in it.
