Glenfiddich Perpetual Collection Vat 01 Smooth & Mellow is a Scotch single malt bottled at 40% in a 1 litre bottle. It is dark gold, close to walnut, in colour.
The nose is fragrant and floral, with summer flowers, creamy vanilla toffee and subtle oak, and a hint of spicy citrus in the background. The palate is very soft and gentle, balancing oak with layers of sweetness and spice, and a touch of freshly ground pepper.
The finish is delicate and smooth.
