Glenfiddich – Perpetual Collection Vat 02 Rich & Dark (1L, 40%)

Vat 02 is a single malt from Glenfiddich, part of the Perpetual Collection, a series of bottlings drawn from vats that are never emptied, following the solera system. It is bottled at 40% in a one litre bottle. This whisky comes entirely from European oak sherry casks, married in Solera Vat 02. The nose is lively, with spice and oak, freshly toasted bread with marmalade, old leather and parchment. The palate is soft and velvety, with a complex, sweet mix of spice and Spanish oak. The finish is deep and gentle.
