This is Glenfiddich Solera Reserve, a 15 year old single malt Scotch whisky from the 2000s. It pours a light gold.
The nose is creamy, with cake, apple compote, grape juice and honey, and a fresh, smooth character. On the palate there is plenty of caramel, white pepper, apple compote and dried orange, with burnt cake, toffee and charred wood, in good balance. The finish is medium to long, with apple pie.
