The Original is a special edition Glenfiddich single malt Scotch whisky, in a 70cl bottle. It draws on the 1963 Glenfiddich 'Straight Malt', the expression with which the distillery first brought single malt to the world.
Malt Master Brian Kinsman recreated it using the distillery's archives and its collection of whisky samples. Glenfiddich is a family-run distillery, and this bottling is presented as a piece of that heritage.
