Glenfiddich XX is a Speyside single malt from the distillery's Experimental Series, bottled at 47% in a 70cl bottle. For Project XX, twenty whisky experts from different countries each chose a favourite cask from the distillery's stocks, and Malt Master Brian Kinsman brought the selections together into one whisky.
The casks include bourbon, sherry and port.
The nose offers ripe pear, apple blossom and candied fruit, with vanilla, caramel and warm spices. The palate brings ripe fruit, raisins, sweet malt, toasted almonds and cinnamon. The finish is long and warming, with sweet oak, spice and a hint of dark chocolate.
