Glenglassaugh – 2013 Rare Cask Release 8 Year Old Single Cask (70cl, 60.1%)

This is an 8 year old single cask single malt from Glenglassaugh, a 2013 vintage from the Rare Cask Release, in a 700ml bottle at 60.1% vol. Glenglassaugh sits officially within the Highlands, overlooking the crescent beach of Sandend Bay on the Moray Firth coast. Mineral-rich water from the Glassaugh Spring feeds a sweet, ripe new make spirit, and the salty North Sea wind reaches the maturation warehouses, some of which date back to the 1870s.
