Glenglassaugh – Sandend

Glenglassaugh Sandend is a single malt without an age statement from the revived Glenglassaugh distillery on the Aberdeenshire coast. It is the distillery's flagship bottling, named after Sandend Bay, a small fishing village near Portsoy. The whisky is matured in first-fill American oak ex-bourbon casks, which bring out fruit and vanilla. The distillery describes its style as naturally tropical and fruit-forward, with a coastal freshness that reflects its position by the sea.
