Glenglassaugh – Torfa (70cl, 50.5%)

Glenglassaugh Torfa is a Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 50.5%. It is the first peated release from the revived Glenglassaugh distillery, peated to 20ppm and fully matured in ex-bourbon barrels. The name is Old Norse for turf or peat. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour. It is described as opening with sweet campfire smoke and salty sea air, leading to honey on oat biscuits, with spiced fruit flavours lingering.
