A twelve-year-old Highland single malt from Glengoyne, bottled by the distillery at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It has no added colour.
The casks are 20% first-fill European oak sherry, 20% first-fill American oak bourbon and 60% hand-picked refill oak. The bourbon casks sit alongside the sherry and refill maturation.
Coconut oil, honey, lemon peel and dry oak lead the nose. The palate is rich, with toffee apple, fudge, orange, ginger, shortbread and warming cinnamon. The long, oily finish keeps a note of shortbread, with a touch of sherry, soft oak and cinnamon spice.
