This is a 16 year old single malt from Glengoyne, bottled at 53.4% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky spent its first 10 years in Glengoyne's first-fill sherry casks and refill casks. It then matured for a further six years in Mizunara oak casks, a longer period than most cask finishes.
The palate shows warming spices, coconut, crisp green apple and a hint of liquorice. The finish is long and floral, likened to cherry blossom carried on a spring breeze.
