Glengoyne 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle as an official distillery release. The name Glengoyne means the glen of the arrow. The distillery sits right on the boundary between the Lowlands and the Highlands and is counted as a Highland producer. It began operating in 1837 and is owned by Ian McLeod Distillers, who run well-regarded visitor tours there.
