This is a 2014 Glengoyne bottled by Murray McDavid at 56.6%, a Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle, matured in bourbon casks. Glengoyne means valley of the arrows. The distillery sits right on the boundary between the Lowlands and the Highlands, and counts as a Highland distillery. It began production in 1837 and belongs to Ian McLeod Distillers, who run it with well-regarded visitor tours.
