Glengoyne – 2014 11 Years Single Cask for Switzerland No. 2565 (70cl, 60.2%)

This is a single cask Glengoyne from the Highlands, bottled for Switzerland from an American oak sherry hogshead, number 2565. The outturn was 288 bottles. The whisky was distilled on 12 November 2014 and spent its whole life in that one hogshead before bottling in summer 2026. It was bottled at a cask strength of 60.2%, without added colour and without chill-filtration. The nose combines fine oak, dried fruit and caramelised apple compote. The palate is robust, with balanced wood, apple, vanilla and spice. The finish is very long, spicy and round, with a light sweetness.
