Glengoyne 25 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. It spent a quarter of a century maturing exclusively in hand-selected sherry casks, and has a bright amber colour.
The nose offers red fruits, leather and brown sugar. On the palate come soft oak, cinnamon and stewed fruits, with a tang of Seville marmalade.
The finish is very long, with spicy liquorice.
