Glengoyne – Legacy Chapter 3 (70cl, 48%)

Glengoyne Legacy Chapter 3 is a Highland single malt bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. It is described as having the deep sherry character typical of Glengoyne, with cinnamon sticks and vanilla, mixed berry jam, apple strudel and a little pear. Glengoyne is the southernmost distillery in the Highlands, about 20 km from Glasgow. A local farmer, George Connell, founded it in 1833 as Burnfoot of Dumgoyne, and it was renamed Glenguin in 1861. The West Highland Way marks the boundary between Highlands and Lowlands, so the distillery stands on Highland ground and its warehouses on Lowland ground.
