Glengoyne Legacy Chapter Three is the third and final chapter of The Legacy Series, honouring Sir Arthur John Tedder, who helped shape the distillery's style in the late 19th century. This Highland single malt matured in sherry casks of American oak and is limited to 1,000 bottles, bottled at 48% without chill-filtering or added colour. Glengoyne has stood since 1833 in the southern Highlands.
The nose offers berry jam and apple strudel over deep sherry, with cinnamon, vanilla and a note of pear. The palate is rich and silky, with rum-soaked raisins, spiced fruit bread, caramelised apple tart and creamy sherry. The finish is lasting, with pineapple, dried fruit, dark chocolate and warm spice.
