Glenkinchie 12 Year Old is a Lowland single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 43% ABV. The distillery lies less than twenty miles from Edinburgh, in rolling farm country, and is known as the producer of the Edinburgh Malt. It has also long been a favourite Lowland malt of blenders.
The nose is softly grassy, perhaps closer to lemon grass. The palate turns spicier, with cinnamon and ginger, leading into a lively finish.
