Glenkinchie – 12 Years Old Scotch Whisky (75cl, 43%)

Glenkinchie 12 Years Old is a Lowland single malt from Pencaitland in East Lothian, just outside Edinburgh, which gives it the nickname The Edinburgh Malt. It is bottled at 43% in a 75cl bottle. The spirit is triple-distilled and aged for twelve years in oak. Glenkinchie is the Lowland representative in the Classic Malts range, and this whisky is unpeated. The nose is light and sweet, with wildflowers, honey and fresh malt. The palate is creamy and rounded, with cereal sweetness and soft fruit over gentle oak. The finish is long, dry and slightly biscuity.
