Glenlivet 12 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from a 1980s bottling. It is gold in colour.
The nose is dry, grassy and very malty, with honey and overripe apples, then nectar, more ripe apples and touches of muesli, butter and yeast. The palate is fruity, with apples, honey, caramel and touches of spice.
The finish is long, with caramel in the aftertaste.
