This is a 12 year old Glenlivet from Speyside, from the 1990s, in a 1 litre bottle. The whisky is a light gold colour.
The nose is grainy, with toasted oak, roasted nuts, straight malt, honey cake and cornflakes, and it is easy, light and undemanding. The palate is grainy too, with some overripe apples and a buttery side. The finish is medium in length and grainy.
