Glenlivet – 15 Years (70cl)

Glenlivet 15 Years is a 15 year old Speyside single malt, in a 70cl bottle. A proportion of the spirit is matured in French Limousin oak casks. The oak is cut in the Dordogne region of France, where it is often used to age cognac. Its low density lets the whisky sink deep into the wood, and the time in cask is controlled so that the wood does not overpower the spirit. The result is a rich, slightly exotic character with a distinctive spiciness.
