Ladderfoot is a 16 year old sherry-matured single malt from Glenlivet in Speyside, bottled from a single cask at 58.6% ABV. It belongs to a series of single cask releases celebrating the landscape around Glenlivet, and takes its name from the farm at the foot of the Ladder Hills.
Ginger, raisins, cinnamon, Victoria plum and dark chocolate sit over Glenlivet's orchard fruit and toffee character.
The nose has dried fruits, apple blossom, vanilla and a little struck match. The palate brings walnut and apricot dusted with cocoa, with cookie dough, dried herbs, greengage and red apple. The finish is long and spiced.
