This is The Glenlivet 18 Year Old in the old style presentation, a Speyside single malt bottled in the late 1990s at 43% ABV. The whisky was distilled in the 1980s and matured for 18 years. It comes in a dark-labelled carton of the period, and many examples carry a metal bottle tag. The notes describe apple, cinnamon, caramel and dried fruits, with a gentle sherry influence and soft oak spice.
