Glenlivet – 1974-2008 Gordon & MacPhail Distillery Labels (70cl, 43%)

This is a Glenlivet distilled in 1974 and bottled in 2008 by Gordon & MacPhail for its Distillery Labels series, under the George & J.G. Smith's livery. It is a Speyside single malt at 43% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. Bottled in 2008, the whisky is either 33 or 34 years old. It is rumoured to come from a mix of refill sherry and American oak casks, and was one of the earlier G&M releases from this vintage.
