This is a single cask Glenlivet from Signatory, distilled in 1995 and matured for 20 years in a single sherry butt, number 166953. It was bottled at a cask strength of 59% in a 70cl bottle. The long maturation gives a richer, weightier Glenlivet, with layers of dried fruit, polished oak and dark toffee carried by the texture of natural cask strength. Spice, walnut and orange peel sit alongside the sweeter sherry influence.
