This is a 15 year old Glenlivet from Speyside, bottled independently by La Maison du Whisky as Artist #11. It was distilled in 2006 and bottled in 2021 at 62.5%, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured in a first-fill sherry hogshead, and 316 bottles were filled.
The nose offers beeswax, pepper, heather and honey, followed by apricot, walnut, almond, orange and tea. The palate starts firm, with tea and tobacco again, then dried fruit, vanilla, white peach and candied apricot. The finish is long, with exotic fruit.
