Glenlivet – 45 Years Old ULTRA

This is a 45 year old Glenlivet single malt, distilled on 29th June 1977 and bottled by Murray McDavid for its ULTRA collection. It is bottled at natural cask strength, in natural colour and without chill filtration. The ULTRA range brings together old Scotch whiskies matured in oak casks in Victorian warehouses in Scotland. This one has spent more than four decades in oak. It is described as showing dried fruit, subtle oak spice and honeyed warmth.
