Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve Rum Barrel Selection Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky (2023) (70cl, 40%)

Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. A portion of the whisky was finished in casks that previously held Caribbean rum, giving the expression its tropical character. The Glenlivet distillery was established in 1824 by George Smith, the first to obtain an official licence in the Livet Valley. The nose offers pear, red apple and ripe bananas in syrup. On the palate there is rich caramel and toffee, followed by tropical fruit, and the finish is well balanced and smooth.
