Glenlivet – Unblended 1950s

This is an old distillery bottling of Glenlivet Unblended, a Speyside single malt from the 1950s. It was bottled at 80 proof in the imperial 26 2/3 fl oz size. The bottling dates from the early to mid 1950s and carries no age statement. It is typically described as an old-style dram that is mineral, waxy, sooty, oily and driven by cereal, with plenty of flavour.
