This is a 12 year old Glenlossie from Speyside, distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2020 by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society as cask 46.102, named 'Crème De La Crème'. It was matured in a single first fill Sauternes barrique, and 222 bottles were produced.
On the nose there is a polished antique French dresser, sweet noble rot, boozy custard, white chocolate and hay, with walnut and orange peel. The palate opens with the spicy warmth of French oak, then winter mulling spices, glazed pastries, orange shortbread, varnished hardwoods and mango.
