A 12 year old Glenlossie single malt from Speyside, distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2023 by Wilson & Morgan at 54.5% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour, with 569 bottles filled.
The whisky was finished in Oloroso sherry casks, where it spent two years.
The nose is reserved at first, but with time and a drop of water it shows butter, liquorice, an unexpected hint of petrol and, above all, toasted bread. The palate is creamy with raisins, dried plums and fresh, tangy wood, then turns spicier and more mineral. Pepper, tannin, sweetness and a clear note of dark chestnut honey come near the end.
