This is a 16 year old Glenlossie, a Speyside single malt distilled in 2008 and laid down in a single Pedro Ximénez-seasoned hogshead. It comes from Alistair Walker's Infrequent Flyers series. The whisky was bottled in March 2025 at natural cask strength, non-chill-filtered and natural in colour. Only 354 bottles were filled. The sixteen years in cask are described as bringing sticky raisin syrup, milk-chocolate cream and warm spice, alongside the floral, orchard-fruit character of the distillery.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
