This is a single cask Glenlossie, a Speyside single malt distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2025 at 16 years old. The Alistair Walker Whisky Company released it in their Infrequent Flyers range. After its main maturation the whisky was finished for over 17 months in a Pedro Ximenez sherry hogshead. Cask 9096 gave 354 bottles at a natural cask strength of 54.7%, in a 70cl bottle, without colouring or chill filtration. Most of Glenlossie's spirit goes into Haig Gold Label, the blended Scotch owned by Diageo, which makes a sherried single malt a departure from the usual.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
