First fill bourbon barrel
This is an 18-year-old Glenlossie single malt from Speyside, a single cask bottling in the Single Malts of Scotland series from Elixir Distillers. It was distilled on 20 February 2007 and bottled on 25 April 2025 from first fill bourbon barrel 773, at 55% in a 70cl bottle. The barrel gave 248 bottles, and the whisky is non-chill-filtered with natural colour. Glenlossie's oily texture and grassy distillate character stand behind this fruit-led cask. Lemon zest, vanilla cream and crisp green apple lead the nose, with a touch of honeycomb and malt. The palate is full and creamy, with sweet vanilla, juicy pear and ripe stone fruit alongside oak spice and a hint of white pepper. The finish is medium, soft and slightly dry.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
