This Speyside single malt was distilled at Glenlossie in October 1982 and bottled in 2022 after 40 years in a single hogshead, number 3398. It belongs to the Gordon & MacPhail Private Collection.
It was bottled at a cask strength of 60.2% ABV, without added colour and without chill-filtration.
The tasting notes describe a nose of lilac and lilies with pale grapes, apples and berries, while almond, clove and dry hay add spice. The palate brings juicy peach, mango and blackberries, with fine chocolate, dry grass and elegant oak spice. The finish is very long, fruit-led and layered.
