Glenlossie – 1997-2022 24 Year Old Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseurs Choice Single Cask 3795 (70cl, 57.3%)

This is a single cask Speyside single malt from Glenlossie, distilled in 1997 and bottled in 2022 at 24 years old by Gordon & MacPhail for their Connoisseurs Choice Cask Strength range. It matured in a first fill sherry butt and gave 586 bottles at a cask strength of 57.3%. It is bottled without colouring or chill filtration, in a 70cl bottle. The nose is sweet fruitcake with ginger and clove. On the palate come morello cherry and blackcurrant, with toasted oak and citrus zest. The finish is light, with lingering spice.
