This is a 12 year old Glenlossie single malt from Speyside, distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2020 at a cask strength of 55%. It matured in a first fill bourbon cask.
Glenlossie is known for an oily, waxy spirit, and here that character comes with vanilla, citrus and sweet grain.
The nose offers lemon peel, vanilla pudding, spiced honey, white flowers and soft oak. On the palate it is full and creamy, with tropical fruit, vanilla, pepper, candy sugar and an oily malt body. The finish is long, warm and clean, bourbon-sweet with a fresh citrus note.
