Glenlossie – 2009 13 Year Old (2022)

This is a 13 year old Speyside single malt from Glenlossie, distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2022. It spent its years mostly in bourbon barrels and has a fresh, fruity, oily style, with a creamy and slightly waxy texture. Light tropical fruit, soft vanilla, fresh citrus and a subtle spiciness run through it. The nose is typically described as pear, apple, vanilla, light honey, fresh citrus and soft cereal notes. The palate is creamy and bright, with vanilla, citrus, light spice, tropical fruit and a soft malt body. The finish is medium to long and fresh, with vanilla sweetness and citrus.
