Glenmore's Old Kentucky Tavern 8 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon – Distilled 1972, Bottled 1980 (75cl, 40%)

This is an eight-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon from the Glenmore Distilleries Company, distilled in 1972 and bottled in 1980. It is bottled at 40% abv and comes in a 75cl bottle. Glenmore was one of the few American distillers to survive Prohibition, and the Thompson family owned it for most of the twentieth century. The whiskey was distilled and bottled at the Glenmore distillery, which stopped production in 1993 but continues as a bottling plant under the ownership of Sazerac.
