This is a 10-year-old Glenrothes from Speyside, bottled by Duncan Taylor at 53.7% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2023, with an outturn of 51 bottles. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered.
After maturing in oak, the whisky had a further three months in an octave cask. Before the finish it offered honey, white pepper, green tea, caramel and apple juice. Afterwards the notes changed to gentle sherry, medjool dates, salted caramel, cloves and toasted oak.
