Glenrothes Oldest Reserve is a single malt in a 70cl bottle, and this is its first bottling. It is a multi-vintage whisky, combining spirit distilled in 1967, 1972, 1977, 1979 and 1980.
The whisky has matured for at least 30 years, with some of it much older. The Glenrothes is usually bottled by single vintage, so this release departs from that approach. The casks were chosen for their very mature characteristics and a distinct personality.
