This is an 11 year old Glentauchers single malt from Thompson Bros. It was distilled on 18 June 2013, matured in a first fill Bourbon barrel and bottled in June 2024. The outturn is 272 bottles.
The spirit went into cask at 68.5% ABV and was diluted to 54.9% for bottling, without chill filtration or added colour.
The nose is white grapes, elderflower and a touch of menthol, with golden syrup, cookie dough, white chocolate caramel, toasted oak, blanched almonds and warm brioche. The palate is waxy and buttery, with cantuccini biscuits, honey and elderflower cordial. The finish is medium, fruity and buttery.
