An 11 year old Speyside single malt from Glentauchers, bottled for the Fragrant Drops series at a natural cask strength of 64.2% ABV. It was distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2026.
Rather than receiving a finish, the whisky spent its whole maturation in a single first-fill Château des Laurets barrique, a Bordeaux red wine cask. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The wine oak brings ripe berries, black cherries, honeyed malt, vanilla, gentle tannins and warming spice alongside the distillery's orchard fruit.
