Glentauchers – 11 Years Old Saint-Emilion Barriques

This is an 11 year old Glentauchers, a Speyside single malt from Scotland, bottled by Living Souls at cask strength. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The whisky was matured in first-fill Saint-Emilion barriques, giving it a Bordeaux wine cask character. It is described as recalling an evening walk through quiet Bordeaux vineyards, with warm light on old stone, ripe grapes and a hint of patisserie sweetness in the air.
