This Glentauchers was distilled in 2008 and aged for 16 years in a refill bourbon barrel. Gordon & MacPhail bottled it at cask strength in 2025, filling 253 bottles. It belongs to the Connoisseurs Choice series, which the bottler has run since 1968. The nose combines ripe banana and poached pear with mandarin, orange and malt pastry. On the palate come juicy apple and tart pomegranate with citrus peel. The finish is light and fruity, with pineapple and mango fading into mild heather honey.
